Black Tusk Studios has Been Working on the New Upcoming Gears Game for Only a Week Now

In case you hadn’t heard the recent news, Microsoft has now acquired the rights to the Gears of War franchise from Epic Games. It was revealed that Black Tusk Studios is developing the next game. We didn’t know how far they were into development till now. Twitter never fails to help in reveals. On Twitter, Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer revealed that Black Tusk has been involved for a month, but as for the newest Gears of War, they’ve only been developing it for a week. That’s right, the new Gears of War is still just a baby. Although it’s probably a really manly baby with huge muscles.

This means we still have multiple years to wait till the game releases, but that was probably to be expected. When it does release, it’ll be dropping on the Xbox One, which by that time will be more current-gen and have many titles under its belt. Gears of War fans are eagerly awaiting the new title.
