Comic-Con week was insane! There was so much coming out of the Con from exclusives on toys, to gaming and movie news. But one thing we wanted to report on – by far one of our favorite things that happened during that week – was the Thomas Jane short simply titled #DIRTYLAUNDRY.

In the short, Thomas Jane returns to his 2004 badass character of Frank West,  The Punisher. The short reminds me of a great mix of the 2004 The Punisher, with the violence of the 2008 film Punisher: War Zone.

Here’s what Thomas had to say about the short:

“I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”

Here’s hoping that we get another full Punisher movie, especially after how awesome this short turned out. What’s really shocking is the fact that Thomas Jane told HDvision that the short was done for absolutely no money. 1984 Pictures paid only for the location and for the crew’s food. Not bad!
