New Character Announced for Payday 2

A new character has been announced for the heist taking shooter Payday 2, introducing the Yakuza soldier Jiro, who comes with a micro uzi submachine gun, and a katana. The son of a talented seamstress and a US lieutenant, Jiro was abandoned at a young age, when he joined up with a bosouzoku street gang and eventually joined the ranks of the Japanese mafia. After falling in love with the boss’ daughter, and birthing a son named Kento, Jiro found himself at the barrel of the gun of betrayal. When he finally came out of prison, only to find his wife had been slain, Jiro took his revenge against the boss that betrayed him. In order to find his now lost son, Jiro came to the states.

Jiro and the Yakuza Character Pack are set for release this August 27th, which will include the mobster, his weapons, a Yakuza Perk Deck, as well as his onimen mask. Payday 2 is available now for PC
